most stuff made in-house. Some they buy from little one-man or one-woman shops around the USA who would never be able to market their stuff (because selling is a whole different skill than making things). Gloves, I think, which are an art to make.
Cater to motorcyclists. Lots of Harley customers.
All US made / tailored. I think some of their elk hides come from, like, Norway? Turkey? maybe. Ask. You can visit their store in Independence, VA.
No, I don't work for them. I have their Classic jacket, 2 pair Elkskin gloves.
Fox Creek Leather sponsors a run every September, over 100 bikes, 100 miles twisting mountain roads. Then a free BBQ dinner and free camping on their grassy treed acres, nights before and after run.
"What do Neil Young,Clark Gable,Andy Devine,Bruce Willis,Johnny Depp, Geena Davis and Jay Leno all have in common? The jacket on their back. The leather jacket. Benicio Del Toro owns 5 or 6. Those are the names of just some of the high profile folks that have worn or owned a Langlitz leather jacket."
I've had more jackets than I can remember. I still have four that are leather. I had one from leatherup that I thought was better than its price.
The two I wear the most are the Schott Perfecto and the Harley FXRG. Both are excellent. The Schott is for spring/summer. The FXRG is my winter jacket. It weighs a ton. With a hoodie it keeps me warm riding into the lower 20s.
I have another jacket I wear for rain and travelling but it's not leather. It's a Firstgear Kathmandu jacket. It is absolutely the most versatile jacket I own. I've worn it in the upper 90s and with high humidity. While I'm moving it's bearable. To be fair, the Perfecto can be worn into the 90s also.

I couldn't be happier with my Fox Creek Vented Racing Jacket. Perfect fit, soft thick leather, stitching is near perfect & made in the USA. I also have a pair of there deerskin Maverick gloves which are nice and will be ordering gauntlets from them aswell.
