Thanks springer. Also have heard to turn speed adjustment off. I tried that and so far not cutting in and out as I have not ridden it yet I will know if that did the trick. Thanks .
Said it before & I'll say it again...you don't need a radio on your bike; the pipes make that sweet music for you to hear.
No one ever said it was a need.
OP, to take the outer fairing off is really easy, theres plenty of YouTube videos to show you, it only takes a few minutes. Might as well give it a look and see if theres any loose or rubbed wires. Being a 2016...it should also still be under warranty so a dealer can take a look as well and hopefully replace anything that might need to be for no charge.
Start simple though....if you have the Road Glide Special, check your NAV to see if theres still an active route going. If you had a route active at some point and havent selected Stop, its still running in the background, the radio cutting out is the voice commands still talking to you.

Yes still under warranty. Just thought it might be something simple. Or some one with same experiences could pass on some thoughts. And yes the pipes do sound good too!
Now when you say cutting out I assume you mean just the sound, not the power?
If its just the sound, double check the Nav like Cygnus said - that was doing it on mine right after I got it and it was driving me nuts for a day or so. You can turn off the voice prompts in the Setup menu, but some of us (me included) have had that default back to On sometimes...
Solved . Yes navigation was still activated. Pwr was still on but sound was cutting off intermittently . Now to go stop the route. Thanks . Now to try to cut out destination . Accidentally deleted all previous routes which I probably can't retrieve but that's ok.

As long as you go to the map screen and stop the route, that will get rid of it. Like UUNetBill said, in the settings you can disable the prompts all together but with certain software updates, that setting seems to reverse itself the next time you set a destination. Some people have the issue, some dont. Not sure what causes that.
