I like the feel when I wear gloves. I wear fingerless riding gloves in the warm days, fleece lined deerskin short gloves when it is colder, and milsurp Nomex flight gloves under lined brand name gauntlets when it is really cold. The gauntlets really insulate my hands and they stay pretty warm but they do interfere with the feel. But as long as I can work the levers and buttons, I am good.

I rode Jan. 1 at 29 degrees. I used cloth mittens and wore gauntlets over them. I was okay... for a short time.

Heated grips, good gloves and Hippo Hands. I’ve ridden as low as 7 degrees and hand stayed warm.

I can't imagine riding without gloves. Putting them on is an instinctive action that takes place right after I start the engine.

I didn't think cold weather gloves with "feel" existed until I put on the Alpinestar SR-3 gloves I just recently picked up. Sort of a mini-gauntlet style. Textile, not leather, padded knuckles. They're waterproof, which in my experience means wind proof. Made 250mi at around 30deg yesterday and hands were comfortable the whole ride with non heated grips. They aren't the cheapest at $70pr but they aren't outrageous I feel and they seem to do well, so far at least.

-full disclosure, I'm also an avid duck hunter so getting out and about in what most call "bad weather" is not an issue for me, I enjoy it. YMMV.

After years on the road bicycle racing circuit and donating too much skin to the "Pavement Gods" - a helmet, boots, long pants and gloves are always part of my motorcycle kit.

I have problems riding while wearing thick gloves, which limits how low of a temp it is outside when I can ride.

Gloves...always. I don't care for half-finger styles. Prefer a little padding in the palm and a short gauntlet I can close. Good sun protection and my hands still feel relatively clean when I pull in for a burger and something cold.

No matter the weather I always wear full finger gloves. In the hot weather the mesh breathable ones, especially after a bad sunburn on the back of my hands. When it rains - waterproof, all other times either leather or a combo of mesh/leather.
