I think it's a Harley thing, I too purchased a new Harley a little over a week ago, I too have spent serious change since signing the contract. I had the same problem with the CVO, it was supposed to have everything I would need (NOT), I have owned many motorcycles, I typically did not need anything except maybe a helmet and jacket up until I started buying Harley's.
Trust me, $1000,00 is not the end of it. I see your $1000.00 and raise you $700.00

I spent over $1000 just reworking the front end. I've slowed down, but that "mod bug" will bite me again.
Now, if I had the mechanical aptitude and tools, I could go crazy rebuilding a more powerful engine. It's probably good that I don't have the skillset. I just fix it as it breaks. Learn something new everytime.
Its the same with cars... This thread made me realize I have $500 in parts sitting on the bench for the last 6 months that i have yet to install in my '64 Chevelle. The bike has been getting all of my attention!!!

I've spent some serious coin on recording gear and basses in just the last 2 years. It never ends.

Here’s my 05 started as a standard. Lol since the pic I spent $3500 on the front end alone and now I’m doing the Electra glide and keeping all receipts but won’t add it up till I’m done.
