clutch adjustment question

Default clutch adjustment question
Just about wrapped up with my winter bar project.
Installed longer clutch cable. Cable will obviously need adjustment.

I am wondering though. Do I have to adjust the clutch? It was exactly the way I like it when I parked the bike for winter and started this ape install.

I am just thinking that if I adjust it and the cable I might get it offset and have to monkey around to get it back where I want it. So do I adjust or just adjust cable tension and then ride to feel it out?

If you didn't change the clutch adjustment when you took the old cable out, you should be able to adjust only the new cable.

That is kind of what I was thinking too. I suppose if I get it all done and don't like the feel of it then I can mess with it.
