Default helmet vibration in street glide

I've just bought a street glide 2014 and I am 6.0 feet tall. I am facing to much vibration in the helmet, which I did not have with my other bike (De Luxe). Should I change the windshield for a taller one?.

It's wind buffeting, taller windshield or a laminar flow windshield like Long Ride Shields will help.
Be careful and stay away from the favelas with your new Harley.

Nice intro...get a taller windshield, or hunch down below yours.

My LRS pretty much cleared it up for me. I’m going to try frame wind deflectors from DK to see if they makes a difference, too.

I am 6'2" and had the same problem on my 2016 Street Glide. I solved it with DK frame mounted wings and a taller LRS windshield.

I really would like to find something that works on the buffeting. The fangs are horrible looking, but I'm not sure if the "wings" from DK look much better. It's hard to tell by the pics on their site. Does anyone else have some better pics?

Anything fork mounted is butt ugly and most owners will admit this unless they are in denial. Get a decent shield with proper height you look over and not through, then call it a day.

I agree the fangs are not pretty but I like not having buffeting in my face and don't want a tall windshield. I don't want to ride on the highway with out them.
