Didn't think it was from new ownership, but from Harley only wanting dealers to be an HD or Buell dealer, So they sold the honda part off to new owners and they opened down the street.
I dont know the hole story so there might be more.

Correction for Tinker... Fremont is only Harley and Buell now. But some time ago they used to have other brands but w/ new ownership they got it straightened out.

Yea, that was what thought as well but I'm just relaying what they told me. But maybe that's what they intended to say without the details? Anyway, the point being they are clean HD now.
hi CaliKing, interesting toi hear about your family, i wonder what part of corkthey came from. have you ever made it over?
im om over for a week of work stayingin Fremont but swung it so that i stay over for the following weekend, as the flights are cheaper returning on the monday....... obviously my interest was to keep costs down for the company...hehehe,.......[sm=teetertooter.gif] [sm=alcoholic.gif]......................., so for the weekend i'll move into a hotel in the downtown area. havent been there before so it should be fun. and thanks to the guys above i've plenty of places to check out.
Not sure as to what part of Cork. Yes I made it over a few years ago. Backpacked for 2 weeks from Dublin North to Port Rush then back down to Dublin for St. Patty's Day. Met some guys from Lisbon on stag and ended partying with them the rest of the week in Dublin. Never making it to Cork (my excuse for needing to go back)
Funny, I grew up in Fremont I know the town pretty well...
My wife is suppose to be out of town next week for work. Maybe I can try and get down there and we can have apint or 2?? I live in Sacramento which is about 2 hours away.
They just opened a Hooters in Fremont. You have to say you went to Hooters..

Some of the indy's will 'suck' your exhaust(s) pipes clean for free. Might be considered 'lip' service. Wonder how SF got that reputation.
hi
thanks to you all for the info.
sf definetly is a cool place.
and yep dudley perkins should be a compulsory stop for anyone in the area. think i spent wayyy too much time wandering around in there.
