Sorry, but no vest pictures for now. But spring is on it's way. For now my avatar which I just switched back will have to do. That was taken January 3rd this year at 11:47am. (black helmet, black zip up hoodie, black leather jacket, etc. on my 2010 SG)

Addressing the op’s question...no way do I feel the need to wear my vest all the time. It’s a great piece when conditions are right for it, but its not going on when I’m riding in 90F temps.
I wear a Fox Creek Vintage Vest custom made from elk skin. I was amazed at how rapidly they created it and how superb it is. Short waits are a great perk!

I might buy a leather vest this summer, for hot weather. I usually wear a mesh jacket, but sometimes I like to wear just a shirt. A vest gives me pockets, but still can enjoy short sleeves.
I don’t CCW, but I might start. It would be nice for that. I won’t be putting any patches on, because I’m not a real biker.
