Sorry, but no vest pictures for now. But spring is on it's way. For now my avatar which I just switched back will have to do. That was taken January 3rd this year at 11:47am. (black helmet, black zip up hoodie, black leather jacket, etc. on my 2010 SG)

Addressing the op’s question...no way do I feel the need to wear my vest all the time. It’s a great piece when conditions are right for it, but its not going on when I’m riding in 90F temps.

I wear a Fox Creek Vintage Vest custom made from elk skin. I was amazed at how rapidly they created it and how superb it is. Short waits are a great perk!

To me it just seems somethings missing if you don't complete the look with a scarf and goggles.

If I'm not wearing a jacket I'm wearing a vest regardless of temperature. For a significant trip it's mesh jacket in summer...Around town in heat a leather vest. Tshirt only is asking for it.

A vest is a good place for your concealed weapon.
Headphones and phone, plus your gloves and what ever you wear on your head besides your helmet.

The only type of vest I wear is a concealed carry vest that I have worn so many years I don't even remember where I acquired it or the brand.

I only wear a vest on longer and warm weather rides. Keeps my t-shirt from flapping around and beating me up.

I might buy a leather vest this summer, for hot weather. I usually wear a mesh jacket, but sometimes I like to wear just a shirt. A vest gives me pockets, but still can enjoy short sleeves.
I don’t CCW, but I might start. It would be nice for that. I won’t be putting any patches on, because I’m not a real biker.
