I sold my FLHRSI last fall after a terrible riding season of almost constant forest fire smoke and a case of frozen shoulder(s) that made riding the King near impossible. I think the last straw was when I had to rebuild the very expensive and reputedly indestructible Baker OD6.
Anyway, it was a nice bike and I regret selling it now- I sort of knew that when I watched it go down the road.
My shoulders are somewhat better, at least good enough that I can ride. So with a little encouraging from my wife I decided to buy a 2016 Road King from a local owner. ( How many of you guys have a wife that says "go buy that bike, you know you want to?)
The bike is paid for but is going to stay in the Previous owners garage until the roads clear up a bit, maybe a week or so. He's a stand up guy, it won't be a problem.
I have had a frozen shoulder and it's no joke! It can last as long as a year or more without physical therapy! Exercise it daily and you will be ok mine lasted almost 12 months! Great looking Bike!
My wife bugged me for years to buy a new truck. I think she hated riding in the old beater. She wasn't real thrilled with my getting back into motorcycles but she didn't try to stop me. After all she IS a helicopter mom and she sometimes treat me like one of her kids.
