The next day they are trying to claim the 17 year old blacked out and doesnt remember anything, and are calling it a medical issue.
I call BS. Young kid driving way to fast is what is was.
On a better note, I had a great ride down from TN to spend Friday th 9th through Tuesday the 13 at bike week. Got snowed on the first two hours riding down. Had a blast!

Nope, a 17 year old kid driving the gray Toyota FRS, reports over 100 mph, hit the mini van and went into the parked bikes.

There was another accident north of town on Thursday. How the hell does someone come up behind 4 motorcycles and just plow over them & claim she doesn't know how it happened? Mama is using the same, lame excuse for her daughter......"She must have blacked out."

This will probably sounds racist, but I've noticed in my parts... That young black women are the most aggressive drivers around. They just don't give an F about anyone, and think they're entitled to drive like they own the road.

This should remind all of us to be aware of what's going on around us. It's bad enough to have to watch for every idiot that's going to pull out in front of you now you got to watch for every idiot is coming up behind you. Another thing is so bad I bet there's not enough insurance to cover one of the bikes and the medical bills must less 4. I just hope no no more hurt bad.

Way too cold for me this year not worth the trip ill try the October fest smaller crowd, got way to many calls from friend saying the law was every were giving out tickets for a mile over ???

Her momma said she must've "blacked out"? Does her momma appreciate the irony?
Anyway, I'd wager she was yakking on the phone or texting. Especially in the case of teenagers and younger people, when they have an accident like this, shouldn't the police check the cell phone for usage? Or shouldn't that be an option, kind of like breathalyzers, making keeping your license contingent on permitting an examination of your cell phone use? Much as I hate to hand law enforcement any other "tool" to pry into our business, I've seen motorists plow through red lights, only to catch up with them at the next intersection and see them typing away, oblivious to the near miss they just had.

Me & the GF just got back. I will never go again. Rap & ghetto culture has taken it over, nothing but rap music & ghetto gangbangers, and NOBODY hates that crap more than me. I am done with Bikeweek.
