Default Jetting size

What jets are recommended for a Mikuni 42 mm on a 1998 Harley Davidson Wide Glide with a stock 80cu in. EVO with Patriot Defender 2 into 1 exhaust, torque tubes and open baffle... I like to cruise.. No racing..

Contact Mikuni USA. They will recommend what you should have with your set up.

I did call Mikuni and they had no suggestion for a starting point on jetting...

Try a #20 pilot, #160 main, and the needle on the 2d step. Tune from there.

and maybe better responses in the carb section..... I would find out what is stock in there now and go up 2 numbers.....

If legal, you may have to remove the plug to get to the air/fuel mixture screw to fine tune everything after changing jets.
