Local INDY doing 5k Service all three holes for $80.00 Doesn't sound too bad and since I can't get down to pull the plugs it seems like a no brainer. Good people I have bought and sold several bikes via consignment with them.
Not a bad price even just for oil change. The filter and oil is a good chunk of that. I can still bend over and change my own for now. Soon I will need a local indy myself.
I do my own but I do follow H-D's intervails. Trans service is every 20K. It is a waste of oil and money to change more often. There is no extra benefit at all. Just my opinion.
At 77 I understand the difficulty of not getting down but a high lift (HF $180) does the trick for 6 years now. Sit on a little roller stool and scoot around.
I am an amputee so I am challenged with getting down low to do pretty much anything, including simple things like checking air in my tires or greasing bearings on my boat trailer. Usually I can get my son to assist. I have changed my oil a few times in the past but its a struggle and I end up sitting on the ground and even laying on my stomach. I am apprehensive about the lift due to handicap. Wife is actually encouraging me to pay to get someone else to service the bike. She probably has the right idea considering everything. I was worried about hassles with HD warranty if something were to go south on the engine but my Indy friend keeps files on customers and we would have the records.

I was gonna say it's easier to do by yourself but given your situation I would use an Indy as well. And I think the $80 is a good deal.
