Custom Sportster Dual Sport
The Sportster motor was the key, he says. It produces tractable low-end power and is loaded with torque. Both of which are ideal for dual sporting. Plus, I just love the sound, feel, and look of its V-Twin motorit has lots of soul!

Very interesting article and thanks for posting. I wish the guy the best of luck. A person sure could have a ton of fun on that bike and with a 6 gallon tank, for quite a while!!

465 lbs. according to the spec sheet. Not sure if that's the dry or wet weight.
edit: Now that I look at it a little closer it appears as if that's the dry weight.

Interesting use of the surplus sportster engines. That's why HD had Buell so many years ago.
This enduro while quite heavy, could still be fun on fire roads.
Then again, Triumph already makes a 470 lb. adventure bike, with 94hp.
