Never have done the Run for Fun. We have been to the River Run several times over the years, and always have a good time. Are you staying in Laughlin or Bulhead? They usually jack up the rooms in Laughlin so high for these things that it verges on criminal.

RE: Laughlin Nevada Run to Fun
We have a house in Bullhead so we don't have to deal with the Casino rates. The Riverside is sponsering this, and they are offering a 'package deal'. Don't know what the other hotels are doing. Some of the events are a bit 'pricey', there is a breakdown at the web site
I'll be there with 5 other guys. Should be fun--if not, we'll make our own fun. Stopping at Dream Girls on the way in. Won't be there until Friday afternoon, though. I think it is a really good deal... $225.00 for 3 nights at the Riverside with 2 dinners, 2 shirts, 2 pins, etc. 112.50 for each guy.

We'll keep an eye out for you. Don't forget, no helmet law in Arizona, but there is in Nevada! You can go from Arizona and use Aztec Rd. to go to the Avi Hotel with no helmet, Indian Reservation and they don't screw with you. If you cross the bridge at the Riverside there are usually a couple of cops waiting...be sure and put on your lid before you cross the bridge! Depending on the crowd, Oatman can be fun.

Didn't see Dave, but had a good time. About 1/2 the vendors as last year, something going wrong with Arizona bike events. Weather was in the 80's, no wind, and a ton of places to ride. They had "Run what ya Brung" drag races at the AVI hotel, and a founders day thing at the Marina in Bullhead City. Ate too much, and have a sore butt, but a big smile. Hope Arizona Bike Week in December is better, but the ride to Pheonix can't be beat!
Had a great weekend as well.........Didn't see Screwball. Looked around at the Black Vest dinner but everyone mixes in with the crowd. FWIW, we were sitting right in front of the stage at dinner. Rode as much of R66 as we could. Went in to Topock on the way to Laughlin for lunch and a drink. Spent about 6 hours at Dream Girls. Most of Saturday swimming just above Davis Dam, and then a couple hours at the vendor area. Found a lot of great shirts but not in 3X. Arrived in Ludlow this morning on fumes after our group left the Riverside at 7am. Put in 4.8 gallons. Received my bell this weekend so maybe that helped out...

Hi Dave,
Didn't do the 'black vest' dinner. A couple of my idiot neighbors in Bullhead City were "jonesing" for a Bob's Big Boy. We rode into Lake Havasu for a burger and an iced tea. Stopped at the Topac Marina on the way back, didn't see any Fat Boys parked there. Only wore the helmet when I went across the river to Laughlin, too much fun with no helmet law in Arizona.
We are probably going to Arizona Bike Expo ( http://www.azmotorcycleexpo.com/ ) in December. Gotta stop in Wikiup Az. and have a piece of pie at Luchia's.
