Can anyone reccommend or is there something that you can mount or wear that I can plug in some in-ear earphones and maybe a throat mike and then connect: frs radio, mp3 player, cell phone, gps, and intercoms to a passenger. Sort of a "do-it-all" device? So you can communicate with another rider (if they have the radio), communicate with a passenger, listen to gps, mp3, cell. Or is that asking too much for one device or controller to do? That way you have just about all options covered. Probably would only use one or two at a time, but who knows. Thanks.
Nolan helmets do a Bluetooth system. pretty expensive....ÂŁ300/$600 each(In the UK anyway) but they are a quality piece of kit.
Both me and my wife have these helmets which are fitted with headphones and mikes. we can chat to each other,no wires, listen to the ipod, one lead or radio and bluetooth the phone as well.
We have a blast on the bike, singing to each other and chatting. It really enhances the riding experience.
And I know some will say its dangerous and that you need all your senses about you when riding but hey... when I was on patrol in N.Ireland I used to pass this mural on a wall that said "better todie on your feet thanlive on your knees". Just about sums it all up.

BlueAnt Interphone does all that you ask of it except it can only be used between two headsets at this time. We love ours. They can be had at a discount on eBay. Check 'em out.

Some bikes look like a car with fairings, dash, trunks,..... Just trying to keep the little lady happy, be nice to talk to her and friends on a long trip. Music is cool too. GPS... not sure about that. Forgot about the radar detector!
I have the blueant interphone and love them. My wife and I both have loud harleys andhalf helmets. It's like have 4 eyes on the road. Her half helmet has padding around the ears so it works good. My half helmet was open around the ears and i couldn't hear with it attached to the strap. I put my winter pad on my helmet and attached the earpiece to it. This covers my ears and worked great. We had no problem hearing each other at 65 mph in traffic. We talk constantly while riding and we both feel safer, pointing out hazards, cars, people, etc to each other. I don't know how long the charge lasts since we only went for a 2 hour ride.
