Default Battery chargers and tenders

Hello everyone,
I just joined this forum. I was reading how many of you use battery tenders on a daily basis. For the most part a huge percentage of you use them EVERY DAY when not riding which leads me to this question for you all. What is your choice/brand of charger/tender to use? If it is going to be plugged in on a daily basis I would think that it should be able to handle being constantly plugged in. I would assume some of the cheaper made models might overheat, burn up or even cause damage to the battery or electrical system, maybe even cause a short or fire at the outlet.
What brand/model of battery charger/tender do YOU recommend and/or USE?

That’s a charger, not a tender. Don’t keep that connected long term.

The best Battery Tenders are the brand “Battery Tender”.

Welcome from southwestern PA. I don't use a tender during the majority of the year, but do put all my small engine batteries (ATVs, lawn tractors, bike) on a tender 24/7 during the winter months. I first do a conditioning charge with a CTEK charger then put them all on tenders. I have a HD tender and about 5 Harbor Freight tenders and haven't noticed any difference between the two brands. Just my 2 cents...

You can buy a tender at any Harley shop and Just about anywhere that sells batteries.

I have the Harley brand Super Smart tender. This tender charges the battery then goes into a maintenance mode so it doesn't over charge the battery. In my opinion it makes sense to get the Harley branded tender as it isn't really any more money than the battery tender branded tender and you know it is what you need for maintenance of your Harley battery.

i got two, both tenders. The battery tender JR is the one i use...i think its a JR. The other one came with the bike and its a harley davidson charger....that one works good too. I got in a habit of always hooking mine up if i dont ride it for a few days.
