Try buying stuff for a wide glide sometime[:@][X(]"This piece you need for your bike fits every dyna except yours.[sm=jawdrop.gif]I still wouldnt trade it for the world though
Take it one step further...Look for parts for a '94 Wide Glide.. They are unique all together....
Its high, but not much different than if you bought a Super Glide, but wanted a Wide Glide front end, forward controls,or Bob-Tail fender.. Its what you bought, if you want something different, it will cost $$$$..
you should be able to get a back rest with out moving your turn signals . and you even can get saddle bags that can go over your turn lights .and you can pay a whole lot less for that back rest . i dont know what stealer you are going to . i would be looking for a new one ,
Dayum! Are we all just gluttons for punishment or what? I mean, there's not a one of us - who at one time or another - hasn't gone off about how much this cost or that cost, etc. While at the same time and in the very same breath, we're willingly and voluntarily handing over the cashola in turn. We're a crazy lot, wouldn't ya' say? Harleys: For some folks, it's often times a love/hate relationship.
It starts with the initial buy with a new buyer. Look at Harley's payment calculator. What other manufacturer lets you finance up to $3,000 worth of parts and clothing as part of your initial bike purchase? Stick it to the man? Who's kidding who?
It's easy to be hatin' on Harley, but metric bikes have the same problems. My son in law bought a Yamaha V-Star. When he bought the windshield, he had to by the mounting hardware separately. Hmmmm..... how you gonna mount a windshield without hardware? Ducktape, maybe?
