Pretty bummed out that the MoCo didn`t chrome out the Heritage this year. Maybe there will be a mid year release like they did with the SportGlide. If not my only other two options would be to wait for next year or buy a Deluxe and add bags and a windshield.
I havent seen the color scheme in person yet, but the billiard blue/billiard white combo looks absolutely stunning, from the pics.
I'm not in the market for a new one yet, but, thats my new two tone choice!

The Deluxe IS the chromed Heritage but now it comes without the bags and windshield. The Deluxe has the mounting points for the bags and windshield; all you have to do is buy them and mount them.
I'm okay with that.

But remember the Deluxe sits lower than the Heritage, so if you are short it is great but for those not vertically chalanged, not quite the best choice. However, you can get good looking good quality Leatherpro bags a little cheaper than the H-D bags that are known to be of inferior quality and there are many choices for a windshield.
Deluxe is close to the Heritage. Different handlebar/riser setup. You have to add she shield and bags.
Or....you could do what HD likes best and swap all the black for chrome. Prolly cost you 10K, LOL.
A really nice set of bags and a windshield added to the deluxe will run you around $1500 or less. A stage 1 is less then $1000 with slip one and a tuner. Both of these will be a must for me when I purchase a M8 deluxe. I would also have to have a sissybar and princess pad for her majesty. I will have to factor these costs into the bike. That might be why i will keep what i got and when its M8 time, sell the sportster and buy a lowrider.

Mine too, so far. Of course I would need to add the engine guard and heel shifter, and the handlebars are a non starter for me. Also, Im no longer a fan of leather bags-too much work to maintain them.
OTOH, I have a bike like that sitting in the garage now. Too bad its 25 years old.

Yeah that color combo is sharp. I liked this year`s color combo of the green/black but I would need the engine chromed out.
I can't stand the new Heritage Softails. The blacked out engine, that black lower half of the windshield, it just looks terrible to me.
One of my favorite Harleys of all seven I've owned was my 2005 Heritage. To this day I still think it's the most comfortable long distance bike I've ever ridden, even more so than my two Road Glides. You don't sit on a Heritage Softail, you sit IN them! I miss mine sometimes.
