You'd think an expert in every language and dialect spoken on the planet would have known that.

I don't know about where you fine folks live but if you try to do 55-60 around here you'll get run over. Anything under 70 and you're tempting fate. Seems like folks is in a hurry to get nowhere...

It's also dependent on MC. CVO Road Glide, 75 to 85 on the highway, Slim -S 45mph on the blueridge parkway. Heck there are back roads that 15mph is pushing it yet very fun.

I'm in the sticks of central NC, so it's easy enough to avoid that mess. On the rare occasions that I have to take I-40/85, I have to run 75+, just to stay away from traffic.

Most of my miles are accumulated on the back roads of rural Wisconsin. Anything over the posted limit, and you're tempting fate (poorly maintained roads, critters, farm machinery, Amish buggies, etc.). I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere, especially not an early grave.

Although freeways are safer, I prefer two lane roads with the unfortunate added risk.

In the Houston area the freeways are NOT safer...lol

I prefer two lane roads in the country but I'll ride freeways as well.

Right now, I'd just be happy to swing my sorry *** gimpy leg over the seat and RIDE...

I JUST WANNA RIDE...
