It seems that someone strung fishing line across the raod near my house, it got a guy on a bike across the neck. IT didn't hurt him too bad, but now there is something else to worry about. I hope they get the people that did this. http://www.dailypress.com/news/local...,7936558.story
does this mean I cant dig a big hole in the alley behind my house for the neighbor who drives 50mph down it? some people are just plain stupid. attempted murder?
Reminds me of what went on around my home town a few years ago. Some jackasses were putting cinder blocks up on tripods in the middle of the highway at night. Never caught the peeps but it did hurt one lady in a car and two semi trucks got some dammage. It went on for a few weeks...
These worthless f**ks that do **** like this need to be severely beaten. Repeatedly. This just reinforces my belief that stupid people need to be exterminated. And again, if my harsh attitude bothers any of the more forgiving types here, kiss my a$$ (see thread about the a$$hole drunk with the Corvette)...
I don't know what possesses people to do sick stuff like this. There sure are some sick M'fo's in this world. They actually get a kick out of this crap.
This is just another reason for urging the police to pay more attention to the real stuff instead of the seatbelts, helmets, and even cell phone users. If you have what they term an 'ongoing' situation of what amounts to attempted murder, the local cops should be out in force looking for these people. I am also curious as to how no truck or other vehicle pulled down the line; at the height of a rider's neck, it seems that any large car, suv, or van or truck should hit it. Also, it seems to me that the velocity of the rider should easily snap any standard fishing line. Well, let's just hope these pigs get caught.
I can recall as a kid thinking of doing this. Thought it would be funny to watch the car antenna flop around, only difference is, I thought thru what could potentially happen to someone on a bike, or if it freaked someone and they wrecked. Early butt whippins from dad made me think about my actions before I did them.

You poor boy! Beatings by your Dad, who should've protected you from reality until you could claimdisability, and get on the gooberment teat! I can imagine the scarring of your sweet soul; it's easy to see it in the color of your bike!
A couple more love-whoppings never hurt anyone, and do tend to make someone think things through a bit.

Kids today don't think things through. They have no real sense of consequence for their actions. I recently read an article about the narcissism of the current generation and how it bodes for our future. Basically, the no-spank, feel-good, never say no, school of child rearing has produced some scary results. If the number of student shootings are any indication, we have our hands full.
