How many boots have you burned with your pipes?

Whatever you do don't buy harley boots. Real junk made in foreign countries and has plastic zippers .my wife bought me a pair so I wore them to appease her and the zipper melted first time out . I try to wear only quality American made boots.

No boots, but flip flops..... Ok, never rode in flip flops, but I've seen people riding in them. I've burned once set of cheap rain gear on the pipes. I've burned my right inner thigh twice on the two Wide Glides I've owned, from the rear cylinder. That's the reason I have a little plastic heat shield on it. Had to put one on both WGs. Guess its just the way I fit that bike.
