Also don't forget to go to the nearest Harley dealer to pick up a couple of cans of winter air for your tires.

Absolutely correct. That condensation turns to an acidic sludge and that ain't good for the engine. There's really no need to start a bike/car every month or so.........unless you NEED to hear it. Just like it sit there and rest up for next year.
If you don't get the bike off the wheels, at least put something under it, like a rug or what I do, a large piece of corrugated cardboard that I get from my shop. Anything to block the moisture from the floor reaching all that nice shinny metal.

You can say the same thing about Florida. Why on earth would anyone stay in Florida for the summer? That's gotta be a real hellhole anytime = hurricanes, floods, Q-Tips, alligators, Disneyworld, etc. LOL TIC

I love the four seasons - especially snow. I did say I was old and crazy, didn't I??

To the OP- after doing the suggestions above, I have one more for ya.
Buy a used snowmobile. Northern MI & the Yoop have killer sled trails. You can sell the sled when you move.

Might want to pull the flux capacitor and coat it with diesel just for good measure.

I haven't a chance to look but anyone know if the 2018 softails already have a pigtail to connect a battery tender to?

The dealers usually put those on, at least mine did. On all the bikes. Then they throw in the $20 battery tender with your purchase.

I don't claim to be smart and wouldn't argue with most of these options but, if it's carb'd
Turn off the gas and run the gas out of carb...

Most dealers around here put them on at set up time.

He just says that to get a rise out of us Michiganders, besides what does he know he thinks Emmy Lou somebody with her squeaky little voice is the greatest female vocalist in the whole wide world.
