Default This old Dyna has been on my desk for almost 20 years

I think I bought it nearly 20 years ago. It's been sitting on my desk getting dusty since then. Just did some casual looking around to see if it had any value. Nope. Maybe 20$ if it's still in it's box. I like it though.

kinda funny that they would go to the trouble of putting a brake caliper on the left side but no rotor. right side does have a caliper and rotor-

If ever an item was MADE for eBay, that's it. Best of Luck!

I bought one of a 2002 Sportster 1200c that I gave to my wife it was a duplicate of her Sporty and she kept it in her office. When we sold her Sporty we kept it and it sits in our office with the rest of the diecast models and plastic models I have built.

I am looking for a 2006 or 2008 softail and a 1982 XLSA, but alas they do not exist. lol

Wow, 20 years.
Good memories I hope.
Seems like it is time to start a collection here in year 21?

I bought it to remind myself of what I was working for after I sold off my bikes a long time ago. The diecast was the only bike I could afford back then likely....lol. Better days now.

I have a collection of those. Used to keep 32 of them in a row on my desk at work, and then someone stole one. Then, I started taking them down and locking them up in my drawer every night, and putting them up again in the morning. When I changed jobs, they got put on a shelf at home on the "Wall of Dad" as my wife and son call it, where some my motorcycle tin signs and memorabilia are. I can't fit it ALL there. I actually have more bikes than will fit on the shelf, and have them in a box, some in their original boxes, and some out. When Maisto first came out with these, they came in series of 6 bikes, and I have probably the first 5-10 series complete, as well as some of the later series. They even had some "special" series, like the cop bikes, complete with blue/red lights, antennas, and all. Unfortunately, my puppy knocked a couple off the shelf and chewed them up, including the 1980 Dyna, white with blue pinstriping, which it seems is rather rare and expensive to replace, and the 1943 Knucklehead in blue/cream. The puppy got "disciplined", but then got another one, a 2000 Heritage. That's when I put the ones that were down low up out of his reach. I guess if I was smart, I'd be selling them on eBay.

This is my work bookcase, well the top two shelves. I work with kids (middle school) and sometimes in order to get them involved they need to speak first and well, I think you can find something to ask about in this collection. I do think I need to bring a couple of my models into my office.
