So i've been thinking of doing a custom paint job on my NT. Trying to decide what colors would look good with black, but my main question is I'm defiantly painting the tank, front and rear fender and the oil tank BUT what about the headlight nacelle? Its gloss black to match the bars and risers now, and the headlight down is powder coated flat black.. I'm kinda worried the paint scheme might look too over whelming painting the nacelle too then i'm also worried about the bike looking unfinished if i don't paint the headlight nacelle.
Let’s just say it’s not going to be a solid color. I’m not even really sure what it’s going to look like kinda gave the painter free rain he’s pretty damn good and I’ve got about a 3 month wait to get in.

Then explain to the painter you want it to work with the nacelle. You need to trust him/her... just sayin.
Last custom job I had did not do the nacelle but did do the headlight bucket and the bars. Whatever you want but if you really trust the painter, hand it over with subtle suggestions.
Who cares what people on the internet think, it’s your bike, do whatever you want.
take a picture of your bike, load the picture into a paint or photo shop program and change colours away, then you will know what it looks like with the nacelle paint or left black.
One thing I regret not getting painted is my horn cover. Something to consider. Have been looking for something other than chrome that suits me ever since.

What do y'all think?
Why are you so defiant? If you work with your painter, you'll be happier in the end. LOL
