Don't hate them; feel sorry for them, for they know not the pleasures of riding the Big Iron. Most likely they are jealous because they can't afford a Davidson, so they bash HD because of it.
Let 'em whine, I do have a brand X in my garage cuse HD dosen't make a four wheeler. Orange and Black has been the raceing colors of HD since before anyone even ever heard of japan
I must confess, I owned a BMW R1100RT before my present Dyna..flog away.
WHAT YOU SAY? You actually admit to owning something else before your Dyna? I can't believe it!
And a BMW at that! What nerve you have being here on an obvious brand specific forum.
Next thing you'll tell us you own 2 Yugos and your a vegetarian. I just can't believe it!
Now back to reality. I myself owned several other brands too before my HD. Actually I wish they had been BMWs. Learned to ride on a 72 Yamaha that I bought in 78 at the ripe age of 15. So ya! Have to admit to it too. We've sure come a long way since back then.
i own 7 bikes at this point in time ,from 80cube to british iron to a 125 two stroke, all of em old and on club registration..i love em for what they are. i dont give a rats what others think, they're just jealous.
Had plenty of other bikes in my life. Hondas, Yamahas, Triumph, Kawasakis, you get the drift. Each had their own niche. The Triumph Rocket forum was one of the better forums for me and they treat all members with respect, no matter what they ride. There will always be brand bashing amongst the members though. Life is way too short for that crap.
I had a guy send me a link to a pod cast thing where some supposed motorcycle experts sit around drinking beer and just being real guys and talk about bikes. Of course the subject was everything that was bad about the TC Harley engine, because I have 2 of them and that is just kinda how he is. Anyway, I listened to about 20 minutes of that BS and I couldn't believe anyone even tunes into the BS. There were 5 guys on the thing mostly saying stupid **** and bashing Harley in general, 3 of them admit right in the pod cast that they have even never ridden a Harley with one saying something along the lines that he would rather be caught riding a F** (slang for a gay man). Crazy stuff and naturally they didn't know what they were talking about and it sounded like the stories they all had about Harleys blowing up were just BS. Just a crazy waste of time. But you have to wrap your mind around the idea that there are people listening to this stuff and soaking it up and getting a hard on from it and then repeating it.
