I deserved a few digs and more... that's what I get for being in a hurry and being too damn tired.
I just wish I knew how to edit the thread title and my post therein.
If people want to call you out for a spelling/wording mistake that speaks more to their character then yours. Don’t let it bother you for another second man
The most important thing is owners of the big touring models need to be aware - if the clutch pull suddenly feels:
Harder than normal
OR
softer than normal
They may be getting ready to experience a hydraulic clutch failure - which could ruin your day, especially in traffic.
You're right to get it looked at...FWIW there is a recall for the newer bikes with hydraulic clutches, not the brake. There are also at least two other threads going right now on this very subject, so a third thread for the same issue is par for this forum....carry on.
Now that ya all have run your mouth on what ya think ya know, Harley has a recall out on a diaphragm that goes in the clutch fluid reservoir for the 2016 model at least. Just as the OP described it, a bad diaphragm will cause bike lurch when starting in gear which can be done. So next time ya all take your bike in for an oil and filter change by the dealer, have them check that clutch fluid reservoir. Then you can sit in the waiting room and tell people how much ya know about changing air in your tires.
"ya know" I think you have your dew rag on to tight. OP meant clutch but said brake,so we busted his *****. Always pays to proof read your post. And further more,I always have the dealer change the seasonal air in my tires when they run a special.

And always check the tire pressures when the tires are cold...just sayin'.
