Nope, damned little on these newer ones you can anymore with all the integrated electronics on them, got a 4-1 screwdriver, folding torx set, small crescent, wire ties and black tape. That's it for the Road King, shovels another matter, tool bag goes 15lbs easy. And yeah we did fix **** on the side of the road.
Even though I know most of us carry a pocket knife of some kind I have found a very small pair of side cutters (wire snips) is very handy to have in the tool pouch. The need to remove and replace zipp ties is made much eaiser using them.

Hmm. Those are exactly the guys I've always listened to and learned from rather than the ones who ride around on bikes they paid somebody else to bolt together from parts they bought online.
I rolled up on a couple guys on a back road near home. One of them said his new ("just got it") bike just "shut off", and wouldn't do anything now. I was on my Shovelhead and had all the requisite tools, points, plugs, condenser, bulbs, breakers/fuses, nuts, bolts, wire and tape. None of that would help him. Loaned him my cell phone to call the dealer to come and get him.
