Is the curcuit breaker a cheap replacement? This is my first Harley that has a front fairing, radio, etc. Before this i had a 95 Road King and never had any electrical problems.I already have the front of the fairing off to work on it and i also notice a black wire with an eyelool on the end that bolts to the back of the middle of the radio was off quessing the little bolt vibrated itself loose and fell off but dont think that it would be related to my issue.Im not that experienced in electrical.Ive always been the mechanical part of bikes for the most part.I just dont want to be facing an expensive fix.But yet i need to fix it.I love my bike.Ive already done so much to this bike but since its an EVO engine i dont want to get rid of my bike

I find that it helps to locate part number and locations. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc
It would seem like circuit breaker is a cheap item at under $10 USA dollars.
But it would be a better idea to investigate problem.
For example, did someone add an electrical item to the bike like heated gear or some other electronic device, did someone change handlebars or controls?
You checked the Maxi fuse?
Check the voltage coming from the battery charger? Is the charger a 12 or 6 volt charger?
Check the ground cable connection where it attaches to the engine and frame. Also, check the cable connection on the starter. Disconnect it then reconnect it.
