A suggestion has been made that we move the Pacific Rally south to make it more available for So. Cal riders in San Diego. So far all but 1 riderthathas commited is froma southernarea. I will admit that Mammoth is out there for a lot of us (even 250 miles from San Fran)
Sept is still hot in the Southland so we would likely need a beach or mountain location and if it is moving I need to know basically yesterday.
Maybe someplace like Santa Maria, Solvang, Ojai, Ventura, Points south?
So vote, comment and suggest. I'm off to Hollister and will check back on Monday Morning. No fighing!
Dates haven't changed...afternoon/evening of Sept 14 throughSept 17 give or take.

RE: Move the Pacific Rally South?
Sorry, I responded in the original post. We can't make the Mammoth ride, are going to Reno the following week, and on to Las Vegas. Will be a 10 day run through Nevada and Arizona. If you make it closer ie Ventura, Ojai, etc we could make it a day trip. Again, thank-you for all your hard work. Don't want to change your plans or influence any of your hard work. Look forward to meeting you sometime. We live just across the hills in the next valley.
Dear Bev, ya need to settle on one or you will get many posts for many different ideas....and in the end will be unable to put it together. Time is short, so if there is only a handfull...so be it. Continuing to waiver on the trip itinery will solve nothing. Either people will go or they will not. Thanks again for your efforts.
Some folks have just expressed if it was closer they may be more inclined to come. It was just a suggestion and I thought I ask the masses. I have only a couple of confirmations so if there will only be 4 or 5 bikes then I will not be able to do much except make a few reservations.
I'm good with Mammoth but I'm also contiuing my vacation from there which may include a stop at the Reno rally. If howeverwe get 50 people that wouldcome if it is moved to So cal over 10 people Mammoth I"ll scramble and we'll come up with something
