Frame Protectors?

Frame Protectors?
I have a set of frame protectors that I used on my 2004 Dyna Wide Glide and the 2016 Fatboy. They are called "Dyna Frame Protectors".
I would like to use them on my 2018 Road King.
Of course they fit, but they are a little bit looser on the Road King frame than they are on the Fatboy or (as I remember on the Wide Glide).
Can I use them on the Road King frame? If they are a little loose do I have to be concerned that they might slip on the frame rail when I start to jack up the bike?

I always use frame protectors. When I clean the wheels I jack up the bike far enough so I can spin the wheel with my hand.

The frame protectors provide about half an inch clearance between the bottom of the frame rails and the jack.

I've used a bike jack for decades without them. Sounds like it would make getting the jack under the bike more difficult because of reduced clearance.

Pitch them in the trash and rely on the rubber grip pads on the lift saddle of the jack.
