Keep your 2k and spend about 200 on a set of s and s standard lifters and a pair of koyo inner cam bearings and ride that bike as much as you want. Like the other poster said they don't sell warranties to loose money...odds always favor the house

1stly it would not be offered unless the insurance company knows they will be the winner so no.

2ndly, if you pass, then u have $2K to spend to break even. And if u do not spend the $2K, u r now $2k (or whatever the amt may be) ahead of the game.

I have ALWAYS taken the insurance and LOST. So as of my last bike, NOPE! No more.

If that’s true then there’re a lot of New Englanders making excuses to not ride.

when did it become everyone elses business how many miles someone rides a year?
Jeez some of y'all are absolutely ridiculous, OR overcompensating for SOMETHING by bragging about your mileage.

OP........extended warranties are pretty much just lobster dinners for the sales-person, then a fight to make them honor it.

Sorry for my comment was thinking you got the bike new. As for the warranty I would say no unless you have had some problems with the bike. Age 77 is not too old, I ride with a group on Tuesdays oldest gut just turned 96 me the young guy is 71 I ride about 20000 or so a year.

And for those that believe it is a “garage queen” , not any more, actually I bought it 3 years ago with 9,000 miles on it, about 5,000 miles a year, not too bad for 77 year old geezer in the snowbelt, but thanks anyway. Stay safe all.

Extended warranties are a huge money maker for vehicle companies.

My comment whenever I am offered an extended warranty during a purchase is to stand up and say "If you vehicle is so unreliable that I need to spend an extra $2,000 now for repairs I think I should be looking at another vehicle"
