From his 2016 RGS that he traded in, he put on a mustang seat, backrest and all the extra chrome floorboards, hwy pegs shifters, passenger floorboards, engine and tranny covers, lighted/chromed switch pak covers, nut and bolt covers in the ***** G Davidson skull lineup made.
You would be hard pressed to tell his bike from a CVO, plus he saved about 10 grand. I guess him seeing my bike all the time finally impressed upon him.
Its not for someone that wants to finance it on a $25k salary. Much as a $150K Corvette ZR1 is not for the average Joe. Hell, who needs to go that fast to the grocery store, when a Toyota Yaris can do the same trip for $16K?

The difference is the Corvette is not a trumped up Malibu whereas a CVO is...
I own a 2015 FLHTKSE, I will say since purchasing it in early 2015 I haven't had the desire to upgrade to another bike. This bike seemed to cure that recurring problem for me. Fortunately, life has been good enough to me to put in a place where I could afford it.
Buy what you like and what you can afford, if it has two wheels it's cool to me. Even if it has 3 wheels it's cool (as long as the two wheels are on the back IMO).
It's about the ride, not what you ride most importantly, isn't it?
Was very disappointed when the 2019s pics were released. Im on my 3rd CVO which is a 2017 and over 30,000 miles and really wanted to update to keep from getting killed on mileage tradein. I still like my chrome so 2 of the 3 were out. The one with chrome is nearly the most ugly, plain color Ive seen in a bike. Sure hoping the 2020s are better in the eyes.
