Default Ultra Limited Backrest

Would appreciate any advice.
Bought a standard HD Backrest for my Ultra Limited (2015) and it has the standard mount under the seat.
When the backrest is attached, it goes down into the slot in the seat and mounts great, but it wrinkles the seat terribly.
Is that normal, or am I doing something wrong? Just looks bad and undoubtedly will make marks in the seat over time.
Thanks!!!!
Cliff

Try moving the backrest mounting bracket back or forward.

I also have the same Backrest and same year Ultra Limited.

The attached picture is how I have my Backrest Mount positioned on my bike.

No wrinkles or deformation of the seat.
