i have an 03 ultra which has the hd adjustable backrest. it had the stock pillow look seat. i just bought a new 04 road glide seat which i love. problem is now the seat is pushed about 1" towards the rear due to the location of the backrest bracket. if i force the seat into position the braket is pushing to hard on the seat to even slip the backrest pad into it.
my first thought is to drill out new holes in the bracket to move it forward an inch and i would have to do something on the third bolt to make up for that....., but if you follow me - do you have any other suggestions to make this work?
