First and foremost, hearing protection, and I can't believe I am saying this too, but, I think it actually makes the exhaust sound better.

The longer the ride the better you will feel. Wind noise has been proven to increase hearing loss and fatigue.
Enjoy the ride!

At highway speeds the wind noise will damage your hearing (and fatigue you as well). I wear earplugs even with my Full Face and it is a quitter Full Face and with the 1/2 anytime I expect to be going Hiway speeds.

Wear plugs. I have permanent hearing damage from not doing so. I do now!

I've read that 20min at 60 mph is how long it takes ear damage to happen.

To the OP's question, I use plugs to cut down on the wind noise for riding. I wear them under a FF helmet. Hate wearing
plugs and hate wearing a FF, but I'm doing what I need to do to keep my constant Tinnitus at bay. I use a few different brands and make sure that I put them in properly every time.
................... Thanks Man gunna look into them , Those , and the Ear Piece .

Here's something to consider: Tinnitus often goes along with hearing loss. You can't imagine how much I wish my ears didn't ring constantly. Drives me crazy sometimes.

Yeah that! I learned a long time ago to protect my ears when riding, and had custom earplugs made that I wear every time I ride. I have too many friends with tinnitus that could have avoided the constant ringing if they would have just worn earplugs!

Just don't be wearing them in both ears and run into the wrong LE (in California at least). That will get you a ticket.
