Default Mirrow change on 2006 Ultraa CVO

Visiting my Brother in FL. He has a 2006 Ultra CVO with OEM handlebar mirrors now. The chrome is corroded and he wants to change them for new ones that mount on fairing. Anyone done this? Any install videos available?

Mirror mount as-is above.

I did it with my 05 Ultra long ago. Got the Street Glide mirrors from the dealership and it comes with a template to install. It was easy enough to do.

I just changed mine out on my 2007 EGC this winter. Easy to do and as stated they send you a template also.

Easy to do, buy the mirrors, remove the outer fairing, lay out template, frill a few holes, follow the installation instructions..... easy enough

I have the fairing mount mirrors on both my baggers, I like them over the stalk type mirrors, even with extenders to get a better sight picture

Those fairing mounted mirrors look cooler that the grip mounted ones but they are not nearly as good for actually seeing whats behind you.
