Test drove one today. Was saprised how awesome this bike is. Know mind u it's not for me as my wife and I ride together, but I thought I'd feel cramped and wasn't. The power out of the hole is crazy compared to the big bikes. It was super stable and forgot how much wind there is on naked bike. Tested three bikes today, cvo , standard and this FB was the funnest, but I should have had a full face helment for it

Not surprising it's quicker off the line as it's 160 lbs. lighter than, say, a Street Glide with the same engine.
Every since I saw the 1st one at a dealership with a 114 and new frame designed to ride and handle better, I knew this would be fun to ride. I won't test ride one because I know it would difficult for me to not buy. Plus I have to spend more to black out the exhaust and change the headlight.
I also have to steer clear of the Road King specials. The green one I saw was to me the best color combination I've seen. Just add a removable windshield & its perfect.
Those are the only 2 new Harleys I am interested in.
I bought one the day it was launched. I just knew it would be an awesome bike (I had a tricked out 103" Dyna Fat Bob previously).
So far, it's been a superb bike. I did a Stage 2 on it with the HD Torque cam and it now has 110HP and 126TQ at the back wheel as well as the factory warranty.
I've been all over Europe on it, and will put another 10K miles on it this summer. Then the warranty will be done and I will probably take it to 128".
You can tour 2 up quite well on it - but you'll need a Sundowner seat, (Leatherpros) bags and a windscreen. However, it's definitely better as a solo hooligan bike.
People seem to say it's small - but if you look at the numbers, the wheelbase is less than a quarter inch different from the Dyna version.
In my humble opinion, if you don't want to do 2 up touring with a lady that needs loads of luggage space, it's the best bike HD makes right now.
I was amazed at how planted and smooth it felt at 90mph. Didn't want to go any faster with out full face and the fact it was brand new with less than ten miles on it. Do like to help them brake it in though, instead of it just being miles in and out of dealership.

Started with the slim s, got the road King special, and added the fat Bob s.
