I wear Wesco Carriage boots. Expensive as hell but Offer great protection and for the most part comfortable for walking. These boots are heavy and probably not the best choice for a long hike up a mountain. (Ask me how I know) They are my only choice for day rides or several thousand mile trips as well. They are waterproof as I apply some Obenaughs leather conditioner two or three times a year. I use the Obenaughs on all my leather. So far nothing has leaked. Hope this helps.
I have a pair of Harley Davidson boots! Had them probably 8 years now and still look good. This pair has plenty of buckles up the outside which are adjustable for a comfortable fit, and a zipper on the inside for easy on/off. My only problem with them was a loop on the left foot where a belt with a buckle went through just below the instep. It was forever getting hit by the shift lever when I would go to shift and had the lever get caught in the loop a few times. I ultimately cut off the loop on the left boot and they have been fine ever since. They do seem to be of good quality and wear well even if they are made in China!
For me it only makes sense, a motorcycle boot from a motorcycle company specializing in motorcycles and riding apparel for motorcycle riding!
I have a game I like to play. Counting how many harley logos a person is wearing. I bet you would get honorary mention.
That might be true except the buckles are covered by my pants so that leaves the two metal tags on each boot. One on the front which is useful when nutchecking someone and one on each heel. There are none anywhere else!
Really, you sound like someone who regularly gets nutchecked for being so hateful.
It's rare that I see you engage in a conversation without your becoming condescending, hateful, or both.

I've worn out three pair of HD waterproof boots in 11 years. Was looking to really step up the game with better protection. Shopped for three months and every time I found one I thought was it I changed my mind. Well my wife stepped in and helped me make the final selection. She HATES technical style boots, but she LOVED these. She loved them so much after they arrived that she has ordered this brand in a womens boot for herself.
These are extremely HIGH quality. They are expensive compared to most but you get what you pay for.
They are stiff as hell at first and require a break in period. They were comfortable right out of the box, but stiff when it comes to braking and shifting. I've had them just over two months now and they are feeling great.
Got mind at Revzilla:
