Crosscountry
I have agreed to help a friend drive from NH to San Francisco and he's taking a trailer. I am considering loading the bike if there is roomand riding back vs. flying. We leave Wed afternoon so I figured I'd ask about stops along the way and/or routes. Right now I figured on stops in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Wichita Ks (family), Freeport IA, Winneconne WI (friend), Erie PA, and home(NH). These are all just guesstimates/ideas. Is there a reason to chose a northern vs southern route? Put your 2cents in and let me know what you think[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Personally I don't know about temperature differences in the northern vs. southern route. I'm guessing you can get that info from your computer. Whichever way you go, it sounds like a neat adventure. I might allow myself more time, if possible, to stop and smell the roses along the way.

Thanks, temp and weather are important but I really don't want totravel the same way on the return trip. And I am open to secondary roads for a little more scenery but don't have a lot of time so they have to keep me headed for home. Mrs isn't real happy with me going so I'm trying to keep the time down and still see some country.
