I am 5'6", and own a 2007 street bob. I purchased and mounted HD highway pegs, and wish that they sat an inch closer to me. Does anyone know of highway pegs that sit a bit closer to the rider? Has anyone used the adjustable highway pegs, would those brackets solve my problem?
It's funny, I am tall enough that the mid controls tire my legs out after a long ride, and short enough that the highway pegs are too much of a stretch.
If anyone could help I would appreciate any info you got.
i'm short myself . i left the bottem bolt out and pulled them back . work pretty good . untill i put some lindys crash bars on it with some lights . but it seems on my 05 the mid controls work pretty good set back on the seat . and your legs go forward some . good luck on your find ,
I'd suggest getting a set of Kuryakyn offsets for your pegs. They will allow you to adjust the pegs to the exact riding position that is most comfortable for you.
thanks for the info and advice, I needed it, hehe. Gonna check out kuryakyns offsets like you advised, if they don't have anything for me I will be trying to return my regular mounts and try and get the adjustables.
thanks a bunch!

I use those HD 360 adjustable peg mounts and they work really well. Kind of a pain to get adjusted just right though. One of those ride a little and adjust and then ride a little more etc...
I should say that they are on a Road King with an engine guard so they may not work for you.
