I must say that I find the current H-D strategy a little bit strange..... they've always been so secretive about new models.
First, they come up with the "More Roads" plan and show everyone what will be coming in the next few years
Then, they start shipping early the new models...without any major announcement
and now, as for the Laidlaw's post, they aren't making the general session presentation.....
I've heard through my source's brother in law's grand pa's cousin that has walked by the HD plant they are coming out with the "sparkle" electric scooter to get millenials interested in harley davidson and have a baby boomer version called "near dead wire" for when they can't ride anymore. Super secret pictures below. The sparkle is only $15,000 before stage upgrades and the near dead wire is only $20,000 but is covered under medicare for all.
Those have been available on Harley's on line store for about a week now.
....... it's sad that the 'Quick Shift' tins have the ability to be ordered w/ a range of accent colors
..... but the bagger tins (Mayhem) only come in red

On the H-D web site they show two 2020 models of an electric bike for children, It's good to see them diversify and put their bran in the hands of children. While visiting the dealership yesterday the sales guy shows promo material for it. An excellent long term growth strategy. Good on them. Maybe they're also considering bringing back the H-D gulf cart in electric format. Nope I don't play.
