The mic thimble reading is probably correct. User probably does not know how to read it. The digital has jumped a tooth on the drive train for it.

A 42797-00 is .225 with a minimum of .205
A 44156-00 is .195 with a minimum of .180
From my experience, rotors are done after 3 sets of pads.
I usually just replace pads at a tire change. So they really have a little left on pad. My front rotor was at minimum. Rear was close.

, but this particular .016 variance is the Wrong Spot ... one measurement would be "in tolerance" and the other, Not so much 
Definitely this "Seller" has lost some credibility (with me anyways) ... but I don't normally take the seller's "word" anyway ... they usually don't know enough
