Proceed with caution when utilizing this app and have a backup plan
I used the app yesterday to navigate from Great Falls to Billings MT with Beartooth H-D as the destination per the app.
Somewhere along one the way I lost the network signal. The app never reacquired the location from the last known point to recalculate the current position to reestablish the route. Google maps will keep everything in the cache if the signal is lost and recalculate the route when it reacquires a signal. Restarting the H-D app was the fix. Thats no good
Secondly. I got to the dealership and it was closed. The app said it was open. This is most likely the fault of the dealer not ensuring their info is correct. Google also has incorrect hours. The sign on their door says Tuesday - Saturday. But a billboard sign says now open Mondays?
Only sure way is to have a paper map and phone ahead. Ive had a couple quirky things with Google maps on this trip but overall has been my go to app for nav.
