Default Heated jacket

Colder weather coming here in New England and need to shop for a heated jacket. Not looking for the plug in types. Stopped by Home Depot and they had Milwaulkee and Dewalt heated jackets that construction workers use in the winter time.
More research on Amazon showed riders with real love for these jackets. Batteries are reasonably small and last 6+ hours.

Anyone recommend Phadus, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ororo or any other brands ?

That 6 hour rating, is that on the low setting? Batteries will only last for so long and why I am content to plug all of my gear (Gerbings) to the bike. Gloves, jacket, socks and pants keep me toasty warm.

Battery is good. Four to 6 hours is more than enough for most riders. And you can always carry an extra battery...that'll give you 8 to 12 hours. I prefer battery.

A battery powered jacket would be good to use on a smaller bike with a low alternator output, like my DR650. LED lights help too..

Really depends on what your needs are. With batteries you are limited.

Why not a plug in? No need to worry about have the portable battery charged of running our of juice when you might need it most.

I've used "Safe and Warm" products for many years. Even though I now live in Florida when I leave home on a trip I always pack the plug in heated jacket liner, I never sure where I may be... Canadian Rockies and be very chilly even in the summer, so can the PNW on damp foggy or rainy days, In the Co. Rocky's and in Wyoming I've been in snow in August. No need to be cold, nope never!!!!

according to the reviews, 6 hours on low setting, and most report they set them on low most of the time.
