Can a Harley-Davidson dealer clear the key fob manual code? I bought a used bike and the guys' wife told me the code she gave me was the code to enter if I didn't have the fob or lost the fob. Well, that code is not right. I have done this a few times with my other bike so I know I'm doing it right.
Now wondering how I get this fixed?

sounds like you have the fob (haven't seen a 'i can't start my bike' thread from you). so you don't need to know what the previous pin was, just set your own. the procedure is in the owner's manual. it is a little different process between 07-13, and 14 up, but it isn't really difficult to do.
you also mention that you've done this with your other bikes. but, i gotta ask, when you are trying to input the code, do you have the fob with you? if you do, it won't work.
Thanks, guys got all my answers here. Yes, I have the fob, just want to try the code I was given. I wasn't sure I could change the code without going to the dealer first. I go to the dealer for almost nothing. I found a youtube video showing how to show the present code I think they just wrote it down wrong.
I keep telling myself to refresh my mind with this, never know when the FOB dies or gets lost and there you are in the wooly booly swamplands...at least down here, *laffs
Everyone thats bought a new scoot knows what the code is from the factory, have it changed immediately to something you always remember. You just bought a used scoot and have the FOB, not a problem to change the code.
Like mentioned above, plenty help out there with that.
I miss the old key days, I was like, "a FOB, no key, really?"

2) Quickly turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off, on
3) Immediately press and let go of the left turn signal switch twice (press, let go, press, let go)
4) Press and let go the right signal once
5) Current PIN will be displayed on odometer
6) You can now change it by pressing left turn signal to change number and lock number in with right turn signal button then it will move over to next number to be changed.
7) Now send me $115 hr service fee that the dealer was going to charge you
