Has anyone taken their bike in for a service job at Strokers in Dallas? I can't seem to find many reviews about them but they seem to be a hot spot for Harleys. I'm looking to get some handlebars installed and unfortunately, many of the indy's I've found live too far from me. Strokers is pretty close and they quoted me $700, which I think is reasonable.

found just shy of 400 reviews on Google....really good reviews there
A lot of times, folks will be directed to Google to leave reviews. You'll get a mixed bag of responses there.
Yelp on the other hand is a place that customers seek in order to specifically trash a company.
Yea I've had businesses ask me to leave them a Google review before.
As fro Strokers service dept, the guy said their labor rate is $115 (which I think is on the high end for a non H-D dealership) but he said the handlebar install would be $700. H-D dealership quote me $1200. Just thought something is missing so I guess I was looking for someone to post that their quotes aren't close to the actual cost, however I could not find anything. Hopefully that's not the case. They seem to be a very reputable business.

I bought a new BigDog from Strokers when they were a dealer for BD. They did all my service while I owned the bike. I was happy with them.
I've met Rick Fairless and in very short order you tell he's a straight up/honest guy. It would shock me to hear that his business was run any other way.
Never had service done there but I have purchased parts. They seem to be very straight up and have really nice bikes in the showroom.
I would take my bike there for service.
Might ask the Dallas Chop Shop for rates. I used to take the bikes there for various installs and repairs. Always had good rates.
The only question is there top mechanic left a few years ago, not sure who's there now.
