Default Spoked wheels

Have you gone tubeless with spoked wheels? If so, how did you do it and how it working for you.
To be clear, I'm not looking for opinions, pros and cons, I only need information from riders who actually went tubeless on spoked wheels.
thanks

A riding friend of mine did go for the tubeless spoked wheel. He said he wanted piece of mind. He bought a used one for $250 plus shipping. Had the tire taken off the tubed one and had it balanced and installed on the tubeless rim. Had new bearings put in. Also had to buy a new tubeless liner kit. Sold the old rim for $50. Total invested was about $425. How did it work? Just like the tubed one he once had. That was about 4 years ago and didn't have any flats so far to use his plug kit. There's really not much to say about it.

Didn't Harley go with a tubeless spoked rim after a certain year ? Thought I heard that somewhere , or is it something you have to do afterwards .

The “profile laced” wheels were, I believe, designed to be tubeless. They were extruded alloy with a distinctive appearance than the standard rolled steel rims and offered as an extra cost option.

Either they didn’t work that well or they didn’t sell that well because Harley-Davidson no longer offers them.

As for myself, I’ve ridden laced wheels for 31 years and 275,000 miles with only one flat. I’m fine with them.

Good to know , was thinking sooner or later I'm going to have to downsize , and I've always loved the looks of spokes . I feel better about using solid rims when I'm out traveling , in case of a flat I can fix it myself . My next bike will be a Deluxe or Slim and I do love them with spokes , glad to hear it can be done .

I retrofitted my 2006 Deluxe with the tubeless spoked smoothies about three years ago. I bought a take-off set from a forum member that came off a 2015 Deluxe. These use the liner and cannot be used without the liner. I disassembled the back wheel to modify the hub because the 2015 is wider. It involved narrowing the hub on the drive side and I also bored the bearing holes a bit deeper to use the standard wheel bearings for the 2006 model year. Then re-laced the wheel.

The front was a lot easier. It simply took making custom bearing spacer/bushing to bush down for the 3/4" axle.

20,000 trouble free miles. I've changed rear tire once, and the front tire is due to replace now.

If there comes a time when the liners are no longer available, I'll switch switch wheels. I have the original wheels off my bike, so I'll probably lace in some 18" hoops!

Tubeless spokes were on an earlier model, and re-introduced for the 2013 Anniversary Edition Super Glide Custom. I have them on my bike, and have experienced no problems.

I have a friend who took a standard wire wheel for his 75 Suzuki GT750 and sealed the inside of the rim where the spokes were so he could run tubeless. He had no issues that I am aware of.

I have a 2000 Heritage Softail and a 2012 Road King, each with tubeless, laced wheels. I believe those on the '12 are factory's. No problems with either one.
