How to find motorcycle shows in the area?
This being my 7th Harley, and putting a lot of time into making this Softail Deluxe what I've envisioned, I'd like to enter it into some motorcycle shows this summer. Question is, how the heck do you find out where they are? I'd like to try to get a couple of trophies for my garage should the people and judges at these shows feel my bike is worthy. So where are bike shows in the Chicago area this year? Is there a website that lists them all? I know of a lot of cruise nights, but not really shows/contests....

Take it to Daytona in March. Enter in the Rats Hole and see where you stand. I second the useless thread without pics.

No pics yet, it's January. Still building. Will be done by the end of March. Getting paint done too. I know of this thing you call google. It's a finicky little fiend. I was looking for some more local people that knew of some shows. I've never heard of cyclefish and will check that out. In the past, I knew Tilted Kilt and Hooters would have shows in my area, but those were not really publicly advertised. Where are all my Chicago peeps?

Look around at your dealer a lot of times they have something posted on the wall. Go to the 1st one you can and then ask who ever is showing a bike where some are. You will be surprised at how many there is. Seeing as you are in Aurora start listening for Bike night in Plainfield. It would be a good place to start.
