new rim
my wife just got her license for her motorcycle. she wanted a low rider but i got her a honda shadow so she could learn on that and if she had a problem it would not be as bad as a new harley. well she had the bike 4days and she drove into a curb at a gas station because a car pulled in and she paniced. now the bike needs a new rim and the dealer said it's $80 for the rim and $200 to lace it.
is thier a place on the net i could pick up a complete rim at? the bike is a 2005 honda shadow aroe

Bike breakers, just find out what size will fit from other older bikes, you don't need to get one from a 05 there should be other wheels that will fit, you will save bit of cash this way. I hope you put your wife through the MSF course, she should not be panicking in a gas station, or anywhere for that matter.Plenty of riding in empty parking lots and quiet roads until she is completely sure of herself, and bike, if she quits riding on you what fun would that be. Plenty of practice and plenty of encouragement from you will soon see her at peace on her bike.
