So guys Im loving my new to me 2004 super glide. The only problem is, is that it was dropped or run into something and the rim was "bent". I've ridden it for a few hundred iles and love the power but there is this nagging little wobble from time to time. I went to the local Harley shop and the tech said the thing is a beast and for what I paid for it , said I stole it. I bought it with 4800 miles on it. The tech showed me where its bent, again not that bad, and I've ridden it quite a while, but want ot perfect and safe, and fun. So I ordered a mag rim vs what's on it, which is spokes, omg these things are expensive. Please tell me I did the right thing.

For peace of mind, yes, you did the right thing. If you keep that bike a while, the mag rim will save you some time and money in cleaning and maintenance.

There are online dealers that sell for a % off and might present a value for parts in the future.
The discount is most times 15% to 20% with shipping being discounted or free once part order exceeds a certain dollar point.
The downsides are you must know exactly what you need, locate an independent and carry the items in yourself unless you are a DIY.
I will guess it was the rear rim and it should look nice with a solid.
Being a 2004 with 4,800 it probably has the original rear tire and that should be changed due to age (same for the front).
[QUOTE=stilup;15362447]I would of bought a new rim but that's me.
. [/QUOTEI did order a new front rim. Super expensive. Bums me out a bit on how expensive it is. Right from Harley
